Ok well since all of you have wondered what I do on my vacations, and I am getting a bit worn out from telling you. I decided to post it on my site. So y'all get right down comfy and lemmie tell you a tale.
Lemmie tell you a story 'bout a guy named Sun,
pooh Canadeer barely get his car to run.
Then one day he was working some long hours
And up from the mail came some dollar bill flowers.
Well enough with the song. Afterall you
don't pay me to sing and I am not that good at it anyways.
So buckle up you seat belts and enjoy the ride
on Air Sun.
Well hush my grits, southern hospitality and a true southern belle (with pearls)!!
After the uneventful flight down to Dallas from
the frozen tundra that is Edmonton, I met the most wonderful
#1Scarlett
and her husband.
The next day I toured Dallas went downtown saw
Dealey Square the 6th Floor Museum and the Reunion Tower. The
6th Floor Museum
was a very sobering place, I gave me time to pause and
reflect on mankind.
After that stopped by Texas Stadium the home of the
Dallas Cowboys
then off to Ft. Worth where #1Scarlett and I met up with the
famous
LadyRobin
, in one word it was "fun".
Renee` she is a true lady impeccable taste and
knows where the best Italian restaurant is in Missouri.
After doing lunch with Renee` and talking I made
it back to Tulsa to stay with freinds for the next 3 days. BTW they
mostly eat, and eat good too :-)
Way Down, Way Down, Way Way Down
I'm going to Graceland, Graceland, Oh I'm Going
to Graceland
Priscella narrates the tour with tons of Elvis' songs in the
background.
I am the Lineman for the County
Woman in bar "I'll do anything to you for $20"
Orianna11 was painting her house at the time and
hey she needed an extra pair of hands, so of course I helped out. Audits "R" Us
Does Ft. Worth Ever Cross Your Mi-iiiiiiiiind
Well that night #1Scarlett and her hubby took me to
Sundance Square
, aww that was sweet of them.
And for the grande finale of my trip, one more
day with those masters of southern hospitality #1Scarlett
and her hubby.
But before leaving on a jet plane finally met up with
Foggy4 his daughters (great kids Fog, be proud) and
LadyRobin (AGAIN, hmm is this how rumors get started?)
PS:

Well except for okra (I'll pass next time)
Some buildings up in south western Missouri on the way
to Renee's
Well after all this southern hospitality, I realized
I just had to make a pilgrimage to Graceland and Tupelo, so I did.
Sadly it was 5PM by the time I hit Tupelo so I wasn't able to tour Elvis'
birthplace. But I did tour Graceland.
You heard stories of Elvis' gaudy life-style well in truth
Elvis didn't really let it enter Graceland. Elvis first time he saw the house
liked it and decided to buy it. You start the tour across the street from
Graceland and drive up on shuttle busses. From there it is primarily an
audio tour of Graceland the back buildings, the back yard and the meditation area.

After enough grits to shake a stick at went up
to Kansas. Well I did get delayed by the freindly Kansas Trooper
whose 1st words to me were; "I am going to give you only a warning".
Next to I love you those are the sweetest words of all time. After
the brief delay I met up with a long time freind and occasional cosmonaut
Oriana11.
This brings up the following joke;
Man in bar "Anything?"
Woman in bar "Anything!"
Man in bar "Okay, paint my house"
Well it was getting close to my time to head
back to the Arctic Tundra of Edmonton so driving on my way from Kansas
to Dallas to catch my plane I did lunch with another cosmonaut Lauri and
her cats, alas I missed her daughters by 10 minutes. As you can tell
by her picture she is really a very sweet person, in spite of the fact
she works for, prepare yourself...
THE IRS!!!!
Well fate finally caught up to me, sadly I got
pulled over on my way to Ft. Worth to await my plane, 79 in a 70 geez Louise
give me a break, but no :-(
Thank y'all for the memories the hospitality
and the kindness. This comes from my heart.
