ARBE (RAB) & VEGLIA (KRK)

Two islands in the Mali Kvarner, off the northwestern part of Croatia. In november 1920, D' Annunzio's voluntaries from Fiume occupied the islands. Fiume military stamps were overprinted for use on both islands:

In January 1921 Arbe and Veglia were given to Yugoslavia.
