"The modern city street is a patchwork of different cultures lifestyles and ideas. It is a space shared by people from every imaginable background as a place to work live and play and its ever changing face is constantly being designed, destroyed, and moulded by us, its inhabitants, as our day to day lives inevitably leave their mark. These images are a look at the city street and act as a study of what day to day life is in Glasgow today. They do not claim to make a definitive point but act as small extracts and snippets. Whether it’s a walk to work, graffiti on a wall, a shopping trip, a pile of rubbish or a wee boy picking his nose, these images thrive on ‘the moment’, they are a celebration of the mundane, of the beauty in the banal and of the aesthetic within the ugly."
