What is the proper convention for entering more than one note into the "Remarks" field in the log? Say, for instance, you want to enter a stations QSL manager and also an IOTA reference. I am trying to avoid having the program ask if "W2ABC IOTA EU-001" should be entered into the QSL Manager database. Also, are there restrictions on the use of commas and/or semi-colons in the "Remarks" and "User" fields? Thanks in advance. Bryan VE3QN |

Hi Bryan I am using the WL32 many years having no problem - I write to Remarks "QSL via XX1XXX IOTA NA111" ENTER and LOG asks if put the IOTA to list and then QSL manager to list (YES-NO-STORNO). Read the HELP. 73 Vlasta

Hi Bryan,I think there are no restrictions. To keep a better overview I write "WW-Loc - QSL via XXXX - IOTA EUyyy - Berks CTY PA" As far as I know you should start with WW-Locator for VHF/UHF. Otherwise it will not be recognized. 73 de Gerald - DL4KG www.qsl.net/dl4kg www.qslnet.de/dl4kg www.mydarc.de/dl4kg |

I would just like to add, that it is not recommended to use the 'comma' in either of the fields If ever you export your log as a comma delimited text (CSV) file, it will cause some problems when importing, e.g. into a database or spreadsheet Although it is possible to change the delimiting character, it will more than likely be overlooked. 73 Colin G0CUZ Winlog32 Author

The MAP icon is on the top ,next to the DX cluster. I might be wrong here ... but it has been so, that you have to be a registered user to use the MAP option , and you will get the info from Colin - password and where to download the MAPS !!Vy 73 de jorn |

Hi Mari, Sorry , first notified your ? now... Well , I understand you have the MAP icon - have you downloaded the MAPīs ? If YES , be sure you put all the maps in your folder "MAP" in the root of Winlog32. Like this - C:Winlog32/MAPVy 73 de jorn |
