Wedding Preparation

We would like to thank God that He is always our GREAT Provider. His Grace is sufficient for us and He is good all the time.

We celebrated our first engagement anniversary at Fat Angelo's in Hong Kong.

After we both committed in 2000 to make a new family, we started preparing the wedding ceremony. It was because there were many relatives, friends and students who were still unbelievers. We decided to hold the wedding ceremony in Hong Kong, it is also a great chance for us to pay the debt of gospel.

In His Time, He makes everything beautiful. Though we knew in our minds that God could provide everything for us, we still worried and doubted sometimes. We knew that we needed much money for wedding preparation. Adrian was still a Master student, and Keziah just started working for 2 years. We both had absolutely no savings. On the other hand, we needed to pay debts to the government; Grant and Loan of Hong Kong Government, support our families and give 10% offerings to the church. At the same time, Keziah still had debts to the bank. From the human point of view, there was no hope. Even though we spent all our salaries, we still suffered from finance. At that time, there were many friends who also got married. When we saw others get married without suffering from finance, it seemed that those situations affected our faith.

But, we prayed at that time. God opened a way for us. We remember that God used two colleagues to remind Keziah on the same day. It was Friday, 14 December 2001. Actually, we had no idea how to do anything before, we also did not know when we should book the church and banquet and then we did not dare to think about it because we had no money at all. However, God is so good, He reminded and arranged everything for us, Amen! On 14 December 2001, Keziah's two colleagues reminded her that she had to book the banquet if she wanted to hold the banquet on 29 December 2002 (we chose to get married on 29 December 2002, mainly because of lacking money). Then, Keziah tried to check the information.

In Hong Kong, there is an exhibition of wedding stuff and finance management. It is held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. In fact, Keziah started to collect information in 2000, she went to that exhibition several times. When she thought where and what she should prepare for the wedding ceremony and banquet, she prayed a lot and got some ideas from God.
