When I prayed, God granted me peace for letting me know He agrees with my plans, and gave me angels for helping me go through all difficuties and troubles.

There was no direct flight to Romania from Hong Kong. So, I had to transfer to another flight from Paris. But, I had no idea how to buy the plane ticket. When I did not know what to do, I would pray. After several weeks, a friend phoned me and asked me to eat out with her. During the chat, we talked about travelling alone. Her boyfriend was in the Netherlands, she also wanted to visit him. Then she introduced me a travel agency. I tried to get there later, and then I met a Christian staff member, we also become good friends afterwards.

Everything was ready. I took a bus to go to the airport. I was excited because I did not know what was ahead. Then, I flew to Paris in 13 hours. I remember there was a typhoon in Prais, I was so scared because I could not speak French and I did not know what I should do. So I phoned my prayer partner, Mary. We prayed on the phone at that time. Then, maybe the other people who took the flight asked the staff for compensation, actually I did not know what they said. In the end, I was offered a room in a hotel nearby. God was so good. He granted me an angel when I needed help. At that hotel, a handsome waiter taught me how to order the meals by using a coupon. At the Paris Airport, a lady took care of me like of her daughter. In the end, I could meet Adrian safely.

Another amazing thing was that typhoons seldom happened in Paris. I did not know it when I was in Paris. But, I knew that there were 33 people who died in the city where I stayed that night. Those people died in apartments and cars when some huge trees collapsed. When I heard that, I wanted to thank God for saving my life. Actually, we can lose our lives easily and do not know when we die. But, I was able to get closer to God through that trip, it was December 1999.

Now, I am sure God’s LOVE is the same yesterday and today and forever. Amen!
