Two Engagement Parties

Happy happy! Cool cool! They are Adi's family members. Can you guess who took this picture? This is my first time to receive many flowers on the same day.

Finally, we decided that we would have an engagement in April 2001. The first party was held at Adrian's home on 15 April. We felt that God was amazing. We just had dinner at home and planned to exchange rings. We did not expect that Adrian's parents would ask us to share why we loved one another. Then, his parents also started sharing something after our "speech". Then, we were impressed that Adrian's father apologised that he thought Keziah would affect Adrian's performance of examination negatively in the beginning. But, the fact was that Adrian still could not achieve what they wanted no matter Keziah was in Romania or not. So, he felt sorry to think about Keziah like what he thought before. His father also apologised that he did not educate Adrian well spiritually. He felt sorry to not bring Adrian to the Lord. He said that God seemed to bring Keziah to his son and helped his son grow in spirit. At that moment, we were pleased and surprised. Seeing his father's sincere smile, we felt that he seemed to be released from the past sorrow. We knew why God did not "allow" Keziah to go to Romania in December.

Two days later (18 April 2001), we had another engagaement party in a friend's, Costin, home. We invited many friends there. Eating and Chatting with music, we enjoyed it very much. Adrian's mother also prepared much food for us and brought there too. We were afraid that there was not enough food for the guests. But, seeing the food of the table, we thought that the leftover could fill in many baskets completely. It was like a story of Bible, five breads and two fish. How amazing! Keziah was very delighted that she could share her testimonies with the guests, and everyone liked listening to it. Keziah: I Never thought that an engagement can be like that, it is meaningful.

Almost eleven o'clock at night, the guests seemed that they did not want to go home. We felt that they were full and satisfied physically, mentally and spiritually. We left contact informaton to each other and kept in touch.

God always does the things in His beautiful time. Maybe, we do not know what His time is. But it is the best for us, though it seems to be nothing happened while we are waiting for Him. May all the highest Glory be with God! Amen.
